Brand style nears completion, consistent spaceship design, archery team activities, level design, milestones set. Challenges resolved.

Steps Taken

  • Trying to arrange to get business coaching through Level-Up program.
  • Deadline of November 18th to have a prototype ready to showcase at VRDays.
  • New team member will be joining, Quint.
  • Different types of buttons can be interacted with.
  • Interior of the spaceship is halfway done.
  • First version of UI is implemented.
  • AI system that reacts on player sound and visuals is working.
  • Ragdoll physics and weapon impact creature feedback based on location.
  • Objects can be cuttable.
  • Arrow effects thrusters and glue are working.
  • First 3D models of plants have been made.
  • 3D models for prototyping have been made.
  • Game concept has been approved.
  • Interactable grass.
  • Spaceship warping effect and skybox creation.
  • Light set up.
  • IK rig up with a unique game concept as a team > research existing games.
  • New team member integration.
  • Finishing spaceship interior.
  • Reserarch regarding how to market VR games.
  • Project Pitch presentation made.

Challenges Faced

  • Creating small vegetation to make the grass more varied this caused some problems as either the filler looked substantial less coherent > no solution had been found so far and to not waste to much time it has been decided to move to other tasks for now as grass can always be filled with more details later on.

Feedback: The colours on the left desing don't add up to the sci-fi vibe, it should be more minimal.
