Steps Taken

  • Networking more properly synced.
  • IK-rig works with networking.
  • Temple is created.
  • Temple doors can be pushed by the player.
  • Envrioment change from prototype to usable demo envrioment.
  • Envrioment made more pretty with stone.
  • Broke shrine assets placed in the envrioment.
  • Effect to make the DNA go into the USB.
  • Anna Dutko has finished the second enemy character.
  • Second enemy has it's texture done.
  • Lots of bug fixing for enemie
  • Voicelines recorderded and implementend.
  • Some sound effects and music effects implemented.
  • Some optimization has been done in terms of lighting.

  • Player shot out of the spaceship bug fixed.
  • Four different tree models have been made and UV'ed.
  • Final evaluation of IMT&S has been made for the blog post.

Challenges Faced

  • The spaceship is heavy on performance > By adjusting, optimizing the lighting in the spacehsip the FPS is slightly better. But the animation keeps to cure the FPS pretty much down.
  • Player is being shot out of the cockpit > It had to do with framerate drops and spikes. This has been fixed by creating constraints to the players position, if it were to be shot out it would be fixed to the cockpit position.
  • The enemy didn't rotate for weeks on > At the start of the game the rotation was deactivated, but wasn't reactiviated.
