Steps Taken
  • Anna Dutko has finished the first enemy character design.
  • Player character model is finished
  • Player character model is textured
  • Player character is rigged
  • Shooting projectile effect created
  • Enemy can be frozen in ice cube when dead
  • Climbing by using the arrow glue
  • Overal Level Design is created in a blockout
  • The various challenges in the level are funtioning
  • Brainstorm session for the level design and various challenges
  • Rework of the planning to make sure everything will be finished in time
  • USB arrow plugin interaction is working incombination with the DNA
  • Shrine with the DNA plant is created
  • Texture for the moutains within the level design have been created
  • Vegetation interacts with player and with enemy
  • Birds can fly away when the player nears them
  • First versions of the waterfall have been created
  • Final landing sequence with warp effect have been made
  • Social Media posts and content creation is becoming more extensive
  • Temple concept art has been finished
  • Nevmesh is not giving faulty AI interaction anymore
  • Meeting with notary went well and came with great feedback
  • Co-founder agreement has been improved based on notary feedback
  • Player character rig has been synced with the IK Rig
  • Main menu logo has been updated with the new company logo
  • Textures of spacehsip have been put together in to blueprints
  • The spaceship has a staircase
  • Cost calculation has been updated with regards to business formation costs
  • Skybox is made more fitting with the style selected for the game as well as more stylized clouds
  • Player can push, some, objects with their hands
  • Research has been done in regards to the most effcient way of creating the level
  • Shrine resreach, moodboard and concept
Challenges Faced
  • The staircase of the spaceship needed to be animated and it was very time consuming and heavy performance in Unreal Engine > Decided to skip it for now and work on it later moment in maya
  • Nevmesh was a real struggle as it caused the AI to not properly function > With the help of Daniel and various tutorials it was solved.
  • We are no experts in law and IP's > use network to find a legal expert and getting help from Law school.
  • It was difficult to come-up with a fun ending > The ending now combines all previously learned skills of the player.
